Perfect for the job May 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My first cheese slicer fell into my hands while living in Moscow, Russia. The plastic handled tool almost immediately started to fall apart, but I loved what it did so much that I hated to get rid of it. I used it to slice cheese to the perfect garnish thickness, slice and shape brownies and other soft pan goods, and serve as a spatula. Unfortunately, as the years went on, I knew I needed a replacement, but they were either too flimsy, too stiff, not sharp enough, serated, etc. It was a scary thing to order one sight-unseen, but I trusted the other reviews. I also bought this tool for two friends getting married this summer. I have been very happy with it and think that my old one which has been held together with packing tape, can now finally retire in peace.

It's a good product that matches the clad pot set I have. Awesome pot also, I think they may be discontinued and I don't know why! Great handles.

Not being able to find a decent sturdy cheese slicer at the supermarket I thought I'd try on-line. The Anolon Cheese Slicer looked like a solid product so I ordered one. I was not disappointed. It looks good, has a comfortable rubberized grip, and the stainless steel slicer is sturdy, not bending when being dragged over a block of hard cheese. I use it primarily for slicing Tillamook cheddar and jack cheeses and it works great.
Excellent Slicer November 8, 2007 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
Sturdy, strong, stable, and solid slicer. None of that floppy, bent nonsense. Worth every penny you will spend on it.
