Amazon.com Review From Amco's Basic Ingredients line, these stainless-steel cups are essential for bakers and cooks alike. The sturdy handles--conveniently stamped with the cup's measurement--resist bending. Each cup features a small pour spout on each side--large enough for pouring, but small enough to avoid unwanted spills. Made with flat bottoms to discourage tipping, the cups nest for tidy storage and happily traverse the sudsy world of the dishwasher. --Emily Bedard

Support weight of cup carefully July 1, 2008 I've been using these measuring cups for approximately 1 month. They feel sturdy enough, however I can feel a slight "give" with the handle when using for heavier ingredients. (e.g: brown sugar)After reading all the reviews of handles breaking off I've been trying to support the weight of the cup not with the handle, but with the base of the cup itself. So far they are holding up well.
Cooks Illustrated recommended June 27, 2008 I buy everything and anything that Cooks Illustrated recommends. When I needed a gift for my friend I knew she needs some quality measuring cups and these were recommended so I bought them. She is really happy and will probably never have to replace them the rest of her life.
good deal May 24, 2008 We've had Williams Sonoma measuring cups for years and wanted to have a few extra. These Amco cups are a slightly lighter guage metal than the Williams Sonoma but have been serviceable for the several months we've been using them. The Williams Sonoma are better, but these are a good deal.
Wow, these are TERRIBLE QUALITY May 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was concerned when I bought these and saw that the handles and cups are two separate pieces (it's just something that can break). Well, they broke. I was drying off the 1-cup today and the handle just fell off... I wasn't even applying any force. They have never even been in a dishwasher. What a piece of junk. I bought them because they are recommended by Alton Brown -- but now I'm going to look for something that is better quality. AVOID THESE, THEY WILL BREAK.
Great Quality February 8, 2008 I purchased because they were recommended by Cooks Illustrated. Would purchase again. Excellent quality.
