 Cuisinart Brew Central makes superb HOT coffee July 24, 2008
I had a Bunn Coffee Maker that finally went out. I searched for a new coffee maker and found the Cuisinart Brew Central 12-cup. It had great reviews. Then I searched for the best price, and purchased it through Amazon.com. This coffee pot is awesome. It's stylish and matches most kitchen decor, but most of all, it makes a superb pot of HOT coffee which my old Bunn pot did not do. I like all of the special features of the Cuisinart, the fact that it's programmable is great and the coffee is ready for me when I awake.
I did find it a little awkward to get the used coffee grounds out of the gold filter as they settle into the nose of the cone shape, but if I weigh that against having to buy paper filters, then it's not so bad. But I do have the option of using paper filters as well, which is another great feature of this product. This is a great coffee pot and makes great coffee. I think I made a wise choice.

I am an avid coffee drinker and was tired of those noisy rumbling coffee makers that also leaked big time when you steal a cup before it is finished brewing. This coffee maker is the best one I have owned and I highly recommend it.

Finally a great coffemaker. Brews fast, keeps coffee hot, nice features, easy to clean. We got ours in all black to avoid fingerprints on the stainless product. Looks great and is a solid, sturdy machine.

I loved my Cuisinart coffee maker so much that over the next year I bought 2 more for other locations. The second one had the self cleaning light start blinking after the first pot of coffee was made and nothing could make it stop-the coffee seemed fine though. Four months after the original was purchased, it started having difficulty finishing the brew cycle...it produced, alot of steam and gurgling and only about 3/4's of the water I began with actually made it through the grinds. I tried cleaning it and it went downhill from this point. I thought that this was peculiar to this machine only, but alas, the same thing happened to the third machine. I'm now looking for a more reliable coffee maker.
I own numerous Cuisinart products, but will not be buying another coffee maker from them.
