Staub 2.25 Quart CocotteAugust 12, 2008 I have the 7 Quart Staub which I like very much so ordered this 2.5 Quart size for smaller tasks.
I have been very happy with this purchase. It was delivered promptly and in perfect condition. For breakfast my oatmeal cooks quickly at low temperature. Cooking brown rice is aided by the tight cover and the steam drips back into the pot causing the rice to be well cooked before the fluid is gone. I have also used it for baking bread with good results.
It is heavy which I'm sure helps it achieve the excellent results.
