Simple to use, the sewing machine offers users a choice of 37 stitches, 21 of which are decorative. Utility, mending, quilting, stretch, and decorative purposes benefit from the machine's 77 stitch functions. The UL-listed machine further endears itself with an automatic needle threader, a thread cutter, and one-step bobbin replacement. The 110-volt sewing machine uses an electrical foot pedal to control operation. Users select stitch styles from a computerized LED screen. An adjustable control allows manipulation of the thread tension, while a separate built-in control alters stitch width and length for varying projects. While only one needle comes installed in the machine, the machine accommodates twin-needle stitching. The sewer engages reverse operation manually. Five diverse one-step styles insert buttonholes, automatically sized, in garments. Accessories are stored in a built-in compartment. Users carry the machine on the provided handle for travel. This was a great machine at a fantastic price, and the shipping was out of this world crazy fast (and free!)!!! Great for beginning and medium knowledge seamstresses.

This is a fantastic machine!!! It cost less than if I had bought it locally & it shipped FAST. It has plenty of functions--utility & decorative stitches & 4 built-in buttonholes--and comes with lots of accessories, including special presser feet. It's easy to use (I'm a novice sewer). When you select the different stitches it tells you what presser foot you need, and the most common stitch length & width. It's easy to adjust & you won't go crazy trying to thread the machine. This is an excellent "first sewing machine"--it offers quality & versitility at a low price.

I've had my machine for less than a month, so do not yet have extensive experience with it. However, I have found it to be super-easy to use and I like it a lot so far. For the price, it certainly seems to be a good machine. A couple small criticisms: the light could definitely be brighter--and unless I leave a lot of thread through the needle, it tends to come unthreaded.
