 Must have if you can't finish the bottle July 22, 2008
Been using these for years, Stick the stopper in the bottle, pump a couple times and viola! wine stays fresh, bottle doesn't leak, back in the fridge it goes til you're ready for the next glass - even if its a couple days later.

It really keeps the air out of the bottle and keep the wine FRESH!
If you want to drink remaining wine bottle the next day or even after 3-4 days....With this vaccum ....it keeps the wine fresh. No more excess fermentation.Bottle fits perfect in the wiine cooler.
I bought one wine stopper from Brookstone for $35 dollars ...a fancy one....but it broke in 6 months and was too bulky...and bottle wont even fit in my wine cooler.
This is a great product.

As per a suggestion from another reviewer, I bought this instead of the Vacu Vin coffee keeper. I just put my coffee beans into an empty wine bottle, and they stay fresh.

I had been given this product as a gift and feel in love with it. Many is the time there is left over wine in the bottle. This product will save the wine, by removing all the excess air. I have since given this as gifts to my wine loving friends. I even take it on vacation!!! Perfect if you want to have just one glass of wine and save the rest for an other time.
