great for bushy haired dogs August 20, 2008 Love this tool for pulling out the undercoat of your dog. It's works like the video I watched before purchasing, plus my neighbor let me try hers (she is pleased also with her purchase) before I bought mine. My dog just loves being brushed, so I think she would give it 5 stars too!
Not worth the time or money August 19, 2008 What a totalk waste, my cats and one dog like their brushings but not with this thing, this hurts their skin. I have to hide it is my hand to do a few strokes with one cat, and then I may still get a hiss or two. NOw they won't let me bruh them at all. This is very klunky and hard, it has sharp endges and it is hard NOT to hurt your pet. I believe Amazon is slanting these reviews to make this look good, go to the end and see all the negative reviews. Listen to the Majority and and go to the pet store and buy a cheaper and better one for a few bucks.
Great Tool August 18, 2008 this is a great tool. it gets out an unbelievable amount of hair. you do, however, need to be careful not to push too hard and hurt your pet.
works well August 18, 2008 This product works well but a warning should be included to not use it too often. I was happy to have the opportunity to purchase this product at such a great price.
Best Brush EVER! August 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have a pug, which are notorious for being heavy shedders. I had tried everything and have purchased many different brushes. The FURminator was recommended to me by a couple I met when they were walking their dog (a bernese mountain dog). I figured if it worked on a dog with that kind of hair it should work on a pug. I decided to give it a try, even though the price was more than I wanted to pay for a brush. WORTH EVERY PENNY! It works Great! I would pay $100 for this brush. Not only does it get a ton of hair out when brushing, my dog now doesn't shed very much at all! I can finally retire my lint roller "dog hair roller". Not only have I noticed less shedding when petting him or after he has been on the couch, but I have even noticed a drastic reduction of hair picked up while vacuuming. I now recommend this to all dog and even cat owners.
