Amazon.com Product Description A blue-grey mother-of-pearl dial lends a subtle touch of shimmering color to this elegant steel watch from TAG Heuer's Alter Ego series. Slender silvertone hands stand out against the simple blue-grey dial, which features no markings other than the TAG Heuer name and logo and subtle hour-mark notches on the flange. The polished steel case and bracelet boast elegant curves and bold ridges. An off-center crown at the 4 o'clock position allows easy handling. Other notable features of this watch include precise Swiss quartz movement and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The watch fastens with a butterfly deployment clasp. Water-resistant to 100 meters, it can be worn while swimming or poolside diving. About TAG Heuer TAG Heuer traces its roots to the small Swiss village of St-Imier where, in 1860, a watchmaker named Edouard Heuer opened his first shop. His vision was to create remarkable timepieces that pushed the envelope of innovation and precision. The company's reputation grew and Heuer's first patent for a chronograph mechanism in 1882 was followed by a long list of achievements: the first stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second, the first dashboard stopwatch for race cars, the first miniature electronic timekeeping device accurate to 1/1000th of a second, and the first automatic movement with a microrotor, to name just a few. Over the years, Heuer's reputation for gold-standard precision earned the company the privilege of providing official timing services for a number of world-class competitive sporting events, including the Olympic Games, the FIS Ski World Cup, and the FIA Formula 1 World Championships. To this day, TAG Heuer maintains a close association with the world of competitive sports and enjoys a devoted following among sports celebrities and enthusiasts. In 1985, Heuer joined the TAG (Techniques D'Avant-Garde) group, and the TAG Heuer name and logo were created. Now one of the most recognized and sought-after watch brands in the world, TAG Heuer continues its reputation of innovative design and technological excellence, creating prestigious timepieces that are always at the cutting edge of precision, reliability and style.
Product Description Sleek and modern, this stylish Tag Heuer timepiece exemplifies the true meaning of bold. Its curving contours make this contemporary timepiece a singular selection.

BEAUTIFUL WATCH! July 19, 2004 15 out of 15 found this review helpful
My husband bought me this watch 3 years ago and I still love it like I did when I first got it. I wasn't aware that you have to have the back resealed once you have the battery changed, luckily we have a jeweler that knows the brand and knows what to do. If you purchase this watch here or somewhere else, make sure you have a local jeweler that is familiar with the manufacturer and can get part for you if you ever need it worked on. ENJOY!
