 Deceptively marketed -THIS IS NOT A BALANCE BOARD August 16, 2008

Despite pictures showing balance board, this is a shady marketing scheme to get you to pay $50 for a worthless set of accessories. Also, it sells for about $30 in retail shops, it's worth about $10.

I ordered this at the same time I ordered the Wii Fit. I should have waited so I knew exactly what I was buying. I love my Wii Fit but this package is a rip off. There are only 1 pair of socks (that I can buy for 1.50 anywhere. The rechargable battery pack can be bought seperately for 18.99. The silicone sleeve for the board isn't really needed, especially of you are wearing skid proof socks. The little carry case for the board is cute, but I don't plan on toting it around very often. I thought the mat was something exclusive for the wii but it is just a plain old exercise mat.

I was also disappointed to find just one pair of socks with my shipment; however, Dreamgear is very easy to deal with and are expecting the calls. They will honor the packaging and amazon.com listing. Just call and then send proof of purchase - the socks will be shipped out.

When I pre-ordered this item, the description stated that it comes with 3 pairs of socks. Just received this today, and there are only ONE pair in the box. FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! It is ashamed that I now have to waste time trying to find out why I did not get 3 pairs of socks.

The original listing on Amazon did state 3 pairs of socks and it was on the box that I received as well. On the box, they had placed little white stickers to block out the 3. I personally feel this is a dishonest way to do business and am very displeased.
