Antiques when YOU are old. June 1, 2008 Second time buyer here......You can actually see the marks on jewelry you purchase. Very great customer service. Always a follow-up. My grandson wants one. Guess I'll be purchasing another.. Love it!
Overall, good beginners loupe August 13, 2007 I found this loupe to very good for me as a beginning loupe. The quality of the product is good as well as its functionality.
It's not 30x April 13, 2007 This is a good little magnifier at a terrific price, but it is not 30x, and I don't know why it says it is. I have two other loupes, one that's 10x, and one that has both 15x and 20x, and this one seems to magnify a little better than the 10x. So, if you need high power, this isn't the magnifier you want. It is very easy to use, with a nice large diameter viewing area, and worth the price, but beware if you need higher power.
Good product, great price! November 22, 2006 I was in the market for a fairly high power, but cost effective magnification product. This product fit the bill perfectly. I can't verify 30x power, but I can say that I can the see the smallest dots of ink on my aviation charts! For the price, I couldn't be happier :) (~$8, ~13 w/ shipping)
p.s. If you have never used a loupe, the area that is magnified is very small. You must look at the direct center of the loupe. The loupe will need to be close to the object ( < 1 inch) and you will have to get close up to the loupe ( < 6 inch).
You wont be disappointed in this item. October 2, 2006 1 out of 7 found this review helpful
