Product Description
Balsa-Foam II is a dense phenolic rigid closed cell foam material used for 3-D model making, and is used in some marine applications. It is often used by designers for actual patterns in casting molds, fiberglass molds and vacuum forming molds. Use hand tools to saw, chisel, file and carve details into your creation. It is easy to cut, saw, and create intricate details. This foam has no memory characteristics and will hold an impression and can be dented. It is flame retardent and self extinguishing. Accepts all water based and solvent based paints ans adhesives. Maximum operating temeperature is 375 F.
