 Dependable hand vac August 17, 2008
I purchased this product for myself a couple of years ago. It is so dependable and powerful that I purchased this one for a gift. The charge lasts a long time and it will pick up everything including dog hairs. Everyone should own one.

Even though my spouse runs the battery until it is dead after each use, we still went through 4 of these vacuums (each a warranty claim) in 18 months because the battery life dwindles in 4 months to the point where nothing gets vacuumed.
Avoid this and the 9.6 volt Black & Decker cordless hand vacuum. Perhaps Black & Decker should replace the rechargeable nickel-cadium batteries with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries on all of their cordless vacuums?

I have two of these vacuums and because they are so great, I am buying a third one today. They do a great job at what they were designed to do, vacuum up lots of little stuff, without the restriction of a cord. I bought my first one three years ago, my second one two years ago and they both still work great! They come with attachments that enable me to clean in corners and crevices as well as gently vacuum the wood molding in my house. Mine runs for about 10 minutes before it needs to be recharged. It has good suction power if you clean the filter after each use. 10 minutes may not seem like a lot of time, but it is more than enough time to clean up spilled cereal or to vacuum in small areas of my house.
