 Pur 2 Stage Water Filter Replacement May 15, 2008
I like the blue color of the filter, it reminds me of clean, clear water. This filter is easy to install and does a tremendous job filtering the water. My water tastes great! This is the only way to go to have clean fresh water!

These filters are useless because you cannot buy the holder. I have not had time to research the problem but did read somewhere that the manufacturer (Procter and Gamble) made some kind of technical error in the product and there are none available on the market now. Several companies advertise the holder on Amazon but a few days after you place your order they send a cancellation note.

I bought the Pur filters because my kids did not like the taste of Tap water and this filter removes all the "funny" tastes and the water tastes much better than even bottled mineral water

Product arrived fairly quick, but the packing (as is all too common with Amazon, I find) was very poorly done and left inner package beat up and smashed. It appears the filters are okay, though, and since it's hard to find the three-pack in stores here, I'll most likely order again.
The water where I live is pretty bad; it's extremely hard and often has an overpowering taste/smell of bleach and the Pur filter makes it tolerable.

Pur's new blinking light indicator seems unreliable to me. I'll still use the filter, but I keep track of it on my calendar because last time it indicated that I needed a new one after just 4 weeks. I drink normal amounts of water, don't use it for the coffee maker or make soup with it, so replacement after 4 weeks was ludicrous. I kept using it another month and will keep an eye on the next one. If it konks out after just a few weeks as well, I may complain to Pur or scrap this product all together. too expensive to replace once a month! I suspect it's a trick by them to make you purchase more often.
