 Bright light lower wattage June 14, 2008
Great bulbs - excellent lighting fast on and saves money - what else could you want?
 Broken when received April 22, 2008
Due to poor packaging the items were broken when received. However I was given a total refund after returning the items.
 Great Product - Incredibly poor packing April 5, 2008
As a product, these lamps are outstanding. Bright, Instant-on, extremely small size (they even fit into a combination fan-light fixture in the bathroom.) That's the good news, the bad is that it appears to be very difficult to receive delivery of unbroken lamps. I ordered two packs (of two). One bulb in each sleeve was broken (the sleeves were dumped into an amazon box and three plastic pods were thrown in afterward - not good for a very fragile product without good packaging of its own.)
The three star rating is an average between the 5 stars that I give the product and the single star I give Amazon and Sylvania for their respective packaging. BTW, as you would expect, Amazon immediately made good on the damage and shipped a new pack of bulbs. Now if I just get it without damage ...
BROKEN BULBS March 29, 2008
LIKE A PREVIOUS REVIEWER, I TOO FOUND ONE OF MY TWO BULBS BROKEN IN THE BOX. AS I AM DISABLED, AND NOT ABLE TO GET AROUND EASILY, I CANNOT GET TO THE POST OFFICE EASILY TO RETURN ITEMS FOR A REFUND, SO I WILL MAKE DUE WITH THE ONE BULB, AND HOPE IT IS AS LONG LASTING AS CLAIMED. (THANK YOU, AMAZON, FOR THE OFFERED 20% REFUND, HOWEVER). WHOEVER IS PACKAGING THESE SHOULD BE ASHAMED. BUY WITH MUCH CARE, AND INSPECT THE PRODUCT CAREFULLY. THE ONE BULB THAT IS NOT BROKEN, HOWEVER, WORKS FINE - SO FAR.

Haven't used the bulb yet because 1/2 were broken. Toxic dust all in the package, very poor shipping job. On the plus side, amazon will cover return costs. Hopefully it'll come in one piece.
