Best alarm clock ever! May 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I can't tell enough people about this alarm clock!! I got this alarm for two reasons: because my husband had our old/regular alarm on his side of the bed and I could never see what time it was in the middle of the night when the baby woke up (thus- the projection) and because he'd often forget to set it again after he woke up to my alarm time for me to get up for work (thus- the second alarm). I LOVE this thing. The projection provides me with entertainment in the middle of the night to 'figure out what the numbers look like sideways' but they aren't too overwhelming or bright. I love that you can set each alarm to either radio or beep and the beep is not too annoying where you just wanna slam the thing in the morning! I also like the weekday vs weekend alarm setting although we haven't needed it yet. I would give this thing 10 stars if I could!
Happily Alarmed May 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I looked around to find the right alarm clock for our wedding registry and we are happy with what we got. We love how it sets itself and projects the time on the ceiling (very convenient for my husband). The only issue we've had so far is even the dimmed front display is a little too bright for us so we put something in front of it while we sleep.
Big and Ugly April 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First and foremost I'd like to echo the other reviewers' apt comments on the good design, ease of use, nice display, etc. Those reviews prompted me to buy this in the first place.
It's bigger and uglier than I had imagined, and so I relegated it to a less obtrusive space on my nightstand. The lithium battery dislodged during shipping, so I had to set the time myself.
But surely big and ugly will become another reason for fondness!
Great value, good clock April 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Had this for a couple of months and so far so good. Extremely easy setup, just plug it in and it sets the date and time for you within a few seconds. It does seem to be about 2 minutes fast but who cares. I love the projection on the ceiling. The arm swivels and has a focus knob on the top so you can place it pretty much anywhere. It is perfectly clear and easy to read. Having two separate alarms have come in handy and my wife and I often get up at different times. The shut off's are in the back and you need to feel around a bit to find them but once you get used to it then it is no problem. Hope it keeps working because I like it.
Perfect projection + other great features April 24, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I tried another projection alarm clock and had to give up on it because the alarm was unreliable and the projection was too bright. This clock was what I wish I had found in the first place. What I love about it:
*Smart set -- sets itself in less than a minute and you know the time is correct.
*Projection -- different color settings and is adjustable for focus and direction. Display is clear on the ceiling and isn't too bright.
*Dual alarm can be set according to days of the week. Never has to be reset -- it will go off the same time every day/weekend or both.
*Snooze button easy to find in dark (we use that feature several times a morning!).
*Large display with dimmer.
*Decent sound on radio.
This is the best alarm clock I've ever used. I highly recommend it. Beware, though, because the alarm is constantly set (can be turned off with switch on back), the snooze only works for an hour!
