 I don't know what you want. July 20, 2008
I love this product. I am able to time my yoga practice and to control the time allottment easily with this device.
FINALLY A TIMER THAT WORKS!!! July 20, 2008
After purchasing several timers at the local supermarket only to find out that they were defective (alarms didn't work), I ordered this one. At first I thought it too was defective, as no alarm went off, no matter which of the three settings a tried: alarm light, audible alarm and vibrating alarm.
Voila! I was about to give up, go back to good old fashioned clock watching, and sometimes overcook something. Then I thought to check the batteries (two of them, AAA). Sure enough, one of them was inserted the wrong way. Upon correction, the three alarm settings work perfectly.
This timer is small, yet easy to read (large black numbers). You can clip it on or use the simple stand. The "light" alarm flashes across the top of the timer. The "vibrating" alarm simply vibrates. And the audible one is loud enough not to be missed, but not overly raucous.
The timer is also very flexible: it can be set for only a few seconds up to 19 hours/59 minutes maximum time. You can set hours/minutes or minutes/seconds.
It seems to me this timer is perfect. And I love the smart design.
Works as advertised July 19, 2008
I'm using this for a 3 day bar exam and prep. Audible timers not allowed in the bar. Done several simulated exams and vibration mode is perfect. I should have bought 2, one to countdown total test time and one to countdown time allocated for each section. I'll use my watch, remember those things we used to use before cell phones, to countdown time. I've also used this for cooking clipped to my waist. Very functional as a kitchen timer. I use both the audible and vibrating, vibrating, and light. Used the light for presentation I gave at work. Worked like a charm. For presentations, it would be nice if it had 3 different countdown lights that illuminated. I've seen these for much more $. This timer is excellent for the price and performs as advertised.

I wanted a timer I could use at work that wouldn't disturb my colleagues, so the vibrating alarm feature seemed just right. Unfortunately, the first one was broken out of the box (wouldn't switch between M/H and M/S mode), and now my second one has spontaneously lost its vibrating function (after the return/exchange window closed, of course). I can understand one malfunction, but after two lemons I have to conclude this is a poorly made product.
