Flickering Light Problem....but after 4 years May 15, 2008

I've used this light for 4 years with no problems but the flickering noted in other reviews just happened. The advertising says clearly use for 10 years, even 24 hours a day, so I'm waiting for a response about replacement even past the year. If they don't replace, their advertising on the product is extremely deceptive.
LIKE: Ease of use and portability without a heavy battery pack. 4 years of use until the problem started, better than other products.
DISLIKE: In addition to flicker problem, other comments about the blue color are warranted compared to other products.

One of the LED did not work upon receiving. The 2nd LED started to flicker on the 2nd day and became very dim. After reading the other reviews, I decided to return it.

Very nice light for when you want to read that book without waking up your partner. A light by your bed is ok when you are by yourself, but when you need to read that book late at night when you can't sleep, it is nice to have a light bright enough to see by.

This is a great light for reading at night without disturbing your partner. Very bright light although you do have to play with it a little to get it to cover both pages of a book it does a very good job. It is much brighter if you use the AC power adapter that is available.
Returned Zelco light 3 times-still bad February 24, 2007

I bought the LED light and AC adapter in October of 2005. In June of 2006 I returned it because one of the two LEDs went out. Amazon warranty is only good for 30 days. Sent it to Zelco and they replaced it. A few months later the same thing happened and I again sent it to Zelco for replacement-they did. Then again! Just the other evening the "10 year" LED failed once more. Four times in two years! I give up. The reason I bought it in the first place was so I don't have to constantly change bulbs in the incandescent version. If you purchase this light be sure to save your receipt and set aside some postage!
