Not bad August 14, 2008 The olive oil is quite good but the packaging was a little challenging for certain members of my household to figure out and the screwtop/popup spigot is now inside the first can we bought. I will transfer the olive oil to a seperate container once one is procured. Other then that great buy!
Colavita Extra Virgin is The Best Ever August 12, 2008 I only use the Colivata Extra Virgin Olive Oil - it's great for dressings, it's great to cook with - it has a mild flavor - it doesn't over-take the flavor of what you're cooking, but instead enhances it.
Very nice oilive oil May 30, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I used olive oil for most of my cooking, and I like the flavor of this olive oil.
High Quality May 29, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
The small can in which the olive oil is stored are very handy and does perserve the fresh flavor of this very good oil. The quality of this oil is high enough to use it as a dipping sauce, especially when mixed with fresh herbs.
Mind the Volume May 29, 2008 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
I didn't pay as much attention as I should have regarding the volume. I often see the larger cans at the speciality stores and foolishly assumed that was what I was buying. I have never seen these smaller cans at the store. But, my own fault for not getting up from the desk and looking in my own pantry to see how much 34 ounces exactly is! Fine olive oil, I suppose. Not sure that the price is competitive, however. Will go back to Trader Joe's for such things.
