Yummy and pretty June 6, 2008 I had my doubts, but these are great! The only thing I am missing are the white/clear ones that are in the traditional mix. The flavor is good (I feel like they are not quite the same as the "non-techno" ones) and I had no stale taste here! My only complaint is the bag. Once open, it tears easily. Not that big a deal, since it was probably better that I split them up into smaller containers anyway for freshness purposes but be careful! For Amazon's price of about $3 a pound, they are well worth the try!
A New Suprise May 30, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
After reading the reviews and looking at the pictures I decided I wanted to try these.
Compared to Regular Gummy Bears by Haribo one of the most noticeable things about them (aside from the color difference) is that they are about 1.5x bigger than a normal gummy bear. The next thing you will notice different are the flavors. They flavors are a nice twist on an amazing food, but since some of you guys might be worried you might not like the flavors (like I was) I have tried and below is a list of the colors and the coordinating flavor:
Pink: Cherry, I guess It taste almost exactly like a Normal Red Gummy bear. :p
Orange: Orange What else would you expect :p
Yellow: Lemon (kinda Strong) Almost taste like a Lemon Head.
Green: Apple? I believe I've been tasteing just (to me) the slightest hint of apple.
Blue: Sour Rasberry Upon trying them yes you will get a semi-tart taste, almost exactly like the flavor of a Sour Punch Straw.
Purple: Pineapple Exactly like a white Life Savor. Yes it might be an odd twist but due to that flavor it is my favorite out of the whole bag.
And Again since they are Haribo they will have the extra stiffness most people have come to love about this particular gummy company.
Good product, great quality May 25, 2008 Why I would give it five stars: Quick shipment of a quality, fresh, consistent product. I have never been disappointed when ordering from Haribo through Amazon.
Why 4 stars instead? The one star less is completely due to the taste of the Techno Bears as per personal taste preferences. I brought the product to the office as a change of pace from the usual gummy bears. Most people preferred the traditional bears to these as they are generally larger, chewier, and with stranger tastes. These different tastes did not agree with most people, although I found them to be a nice change (though certainly not better).
Different! May 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Beautiful pearlescent colors-festive for Easter and springtime...These arrived very fresh. Blue tastes a little strange-almost medicine like, but not too bad if eaten with a mixture of other colors. The other colors are pretty tasty. Yellow tastes like lemon drops. Green- very mild apple flavor, Purple-almost like marshmallow peeps and the Pink, very mildly cherry bubblegum. I highly recommend!
LOVE THEM!!! March 26, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was excited to see the techno bears online, before I always had to get people to bring them back from Germany. All of Haribo's products, along with most German gummies, are chewier than what you would find in America. They employ some jaw work. If you like the gummy bears you will like these. Techno bears are much more flavorful and fat free is always a plus!
