Product Description These sexy super soft 100% baby alpaca wool shawls are incredibly luxurious to touch. They will never scratch or itch and their sensuous silky texture will always be a delight to wrap around you. Spoil yourself with an elegant reversible shawl that has the same velvety texture on each side and will keep you warm and fashionable as long as you wear it. Note that these are large shawls, not one of the typically smaller scarves. We have a large variety of colors available and this one is a luscious mixture of dark blue and black colors. Exact sizes vary somewhat but each shawl measures approximately 30 inches wide and 90 inches long including the 2 to 3 inch fringe at each end. The sides of these shawls are unfinished which gives them an extra soft look. The colors shimmer in the light and there is a high level of sheen. One touch tells you that these are very high quality shawls. Everyone will want to feel yours. One size fits all. Colors may vary slightly from the pictures shown. They are expertly hand woven in Ecuador and our label is attached. Why pay inflated name brand prices? The comparable retail price for each shawl is $200.00 and your normal price is only $49.95 but this Limited Time Special 40% Off is only $29.95.In case you did not know, alpaca is a specialty luxury fiber. More alpaca fiber is produced each year than cashmere or mohair. No other animal produces fiber that has the softness of cashmere, the luster of silk, the lightness of goose feathers, the durability of wool, and the warmth of a cozy fireplace. The alpaca has been domesticated (as versus its kin llama, which is primarily a work animal) and carefully bred for over 5,000 years as a luxury fiber-producing animal. Alpaca wool has been prized for centuries for its incredible combination of softness, lightness, and warmth. Alpaca is best cared for by dry cleaning although light soiling can frequently be removed with water, especially if the stain has not set.Click here to see Sof

Softer than Pashmina (Cashmir)! March 27, 2008 We own many shawls and sweaters made from pashmina (also called cashmir) which has been widely regarded as the world's softest wool for centuries. Out of curiosity, I bought one of these shawls for my wife and we were amazed by the luxurious softness of this wool! It doesn't seem as tightly woven as pashmina and the surface has that brushed fuzziness of the old angora sweaters. Definitely not for wearing in the rain, but as warm and cozy as anything you have ever worn, and maybe even softer than cashmir! The midnight blue color is simply gorgeous. We could not be happier with it!
